You Can Accentuate Positive Thoughts To Eliminate Debt

Posted by AineMC in Motivational / Inspirational

Many people wake up every day in a state of depression and this is entirely because of the debts they have accumulated for whatever reason. Sadly, there are also many people who assume that the reason people are financially embarrassed is because they took out one loan after another when they could not afford a loan in the first place. These people, who have been cushioned with financial abundance all their lives, have no idea what it is to be in a position of lack of money and have insensitive views on the subject.

Sometimes their views are correct. However, for thousands of other people, the reasons why they are in debt are because they may have lost their job through either redundancy, illness, or they may have suffered a breakdown in their relationship, which could have lead to depression and the inability to be able to focus on their jobs. Many others have been caught in world recessions, or purchased businesses which collapsed or are in debt because of their partner’s inability to spend sensibly.

Your health suffers in many ways because of living with the continual fear of debt problems. This can be both mentally and physically, and can lead to many critical major illnesses, at the very least. Spending money to eat properly becomes a luxury as you are fearful of spending more money than you have to and this affects many areas of your body. It becomes a no-win situation. You cannot care for yourself properly because you are not in a position to afford to and at the same time you cannot afford not to!

But, thankfully, there are two sides to every coin! You always have a choice. Your choice is whether to sit and dwell on your painful debt challenge or you can accentuate positive thoughts to inspire yourself out of the depressed state that you are in. A way that you can accentuate positive thoughts is to spend time concentrating on what you want in your life. Create a list of what you want. Make sure that you have big dreams and then smaller dreams. You can use the smaller dreams as stepping stones to your bigger dream. Accentuate positive thoughts regularly to achieve these dreams.

One way to lift yourself up immediately, is to find a place where you normally feel peaceful, the coast, the countryside, a special park, an art gallery or anywhere where you are able to accentuate positive thoughts.

A lot of very successful people have gone from financial bleakness to financial abundance and you can read autobiographies of these people to inspire you. Just visit your library to find these books and if any book is not there, request it. You so not have to buy the books, when they are freely available.

Finally, take one step of action. As we all know, nothing comes without this step. Your computer, your pencil, you pad, your table … all of the ‘things’ around you were just a thought once.

The Cows That Stayed Home!

Posted by Sharecropperbob in Motivational / Inspirational

Ever wonder what makes a cow do what a cow does? She slowly moves along, munching on grass, seemingly without any particular goal in mind. Then suddenly she sees a juicy morsel on the other side of the fence. What does she do? If the gate is open she walks on through and continues to eat! If it’s closed she sticks her head through any opening possible and eats the grass on the other side. After all, the grass is always greener and it just has to taste better!

This is a true story of the miracle of the wandering cows. It’s not documented by the Catholic Church, but it is definitely a tale of divine intervention. I believe that God showers us with miracles every day, but unless they’re covered by the six o’clock news, we rarely hear about them. The following event is a no-brainer; this was definitely a miracle from God!

My friend Carol and her family built their home many years ago just outside our town. Due to progress spurred on by the space industry, our town has grown larger than any of our founding fathers could have imagined. Land that was in the country thirty years ago is now in the city.

Their house and their neighbor’s house and pasture is now surrounded by roads and highways. Their pastures are home to a few cattle, a couple of goats and a donkey which roam the field munching on grass. There is always the fear that someone will forget to shut the gate and the animals will wander onto the road and be struck by a car.

One rainy afternoon her neighbors were out of town and it was her duty to feed the animals. There were only a half dozen cows, but they still had to be herded to the barn and fed grain. Slipping and sliding through the mud, Carol wondered again why cows were so stupid that they wouldn’t get out of the rain and into a nice warm barn. Finally, they were fed and they began to drift back out into the pasture munching wet grass as they walked over the wet grass.

As Carol came to the pasture gate with the cows slowly following her, her cell phone rang. Her husband told her of an emergency involving another friend who had to be rushed to the hospital. She opened and shut the gate and ran to her house to change out of the muddy clothes. All this took only a few precious minutes and then they were hurrying to the local hospital some thirty minutes away.

For those who have been unfortunate enough to have visited any emergency room in this country, you know that it is a law that you have to spend at least two hours in the waiting room before you’re called into the actual emergency room. Then it’s another two hours before a real doctor sees you.

Thankfully the friend was treated and was able to go home after four hours. Carol decided to stop by the neighbor’s house to make sure everything was in order. As they drove into the driveway, she gasped as she saw the open gate to the pasture. In her hurry, she had forgotten to put the pin in the latch to keep the gate shut!

Every one of those cows was happily munching on the spring grass inside the fence! One, two, three four, five and six! They were all there! Not a one had ventured through the opening into the yard and ultimately onto the road just a few yards away!

Nothing is more tempting to a cow than a chance to wander through an open gate. Upon seeing such an opening, her mouth starts watering and visions of new tastier morsels of sweet young grass start dancing in her head. When six cows are wandering around the pasture, the odds are that one of them will be marching through that opening to the world outside the pasture!

This was a miracle paramount to the parting of the waters! For four hours God had prevented the cows from walking through the open gate! This is a miracle of epic proportions. Was God protecting the cows or my friend Carol from having to shoulder the blame for having left the gate open? I believe though, that it’s just an example of God’s love. There are miracles every day for all of us if we just look for them!

Return To Your Spiritual Center

Posted by Powerkeys in Motivational / Inspirational

Everywhere we see the speed of life increasing, almost daily it seems.

The age of instant gratification has done a number on our schedules. It started with business people wanting to provide better service by being more available for customer requests. Longer hours, faxes, pagers, cell phones, mobile computers, and more have become commonplace in the push to be better than the next guy.

Of course, everyone feels the effects of this, as family members are no longer as available to our families as they are to their jobs. Now virtually everyone carries a cell phone in order to maintain contact with the important people in their lives. One more thing that has to be taken care of right now.

And then there are the expectations we have about our place within society. It looks like everyone else is succeeding except us. We have to keep up, buy the new toys, wear ‘better’ clothes, drive a ‘hot’ car, and so on. We just wouldn’t feel right not being a part of the ‘in crowd’. Take out a loan if you don’t have the cash. Put it on plastic and work harder.

But look at where that is taking us. Spending more money just creates the need to work longer hours. Which in turn creates the feeling of being more stressed and less capable of handling the tasks that are before us.

There comes a time when you just have to realize that you can’t do everything you want to do. There just isn’t enough time to do all of it, so you have to choose. What do you let go of to make room in your day for the rest?

Do you really have to give up something? Couldn’t you just figure out a way to work ’smarter’?

Working smarter is great, but is based on one basic idea. You don’t have to do everything. You only have to do the more important tasks and let the rest go. It’s the old 80-20 rule. 80% of the results you want can be obtained with only 20% of the effort. And the last 20% of the results you want will take 80% of the effort.

Eventually it boils down to what are the most important things in life.

Is it really important to be popular with the in crowd? Is it important to outperform everyone else in the department? Do your customers really need you 24/7? Or is it important to spend time with your family, your friends, and your self?

Some of the happiest people I’ve ever known were those with very simple lives. Yes, some of us would be extremely bored living simple lives, but that is only until we learn just where the satisfaction these people are getting is coming from.

When life is simple, you have time to do all sorts of things you don’t have time for now. And one of those things that we don’t have time for now is to return to our spiritual center.

For many of us, returning to our spiritual center sounds like one of those things that should mean a lot, but we don’t really understand the significance of it. It’s like sex, or love. Until you experience it, no-one can explain it to you.

And it really is like sex, and also like love. There is an experience of being enfolded within something greater than anything else you’ve ever experienced. Returning to your spiritual center is like receiving a big hug from God, which sparks an emotional reaction that completely overwhelms your senses. It is the ultimate ‘high’. One good hit and you’re flying for hours. But unlike drugs, returning to your spiritual center doesn’t have any physical side-effects.

How often should you return to your spiritual center? The simple answer is “Every day”. At least once a day, you would benefit tremendously from contact with your spiritual source. Your health would improve, your outlook on life would improve, and your ability to reach your goals would improve.

A more complex answer would be “Once”. In all sincerity, if you were able to stay spiritually centered, you would be able to do much more with less effort. This is difficult to do, and requires much training.

But whether you are able to stay spiritually centered or not, returning to center will improve every aspect of your life. And the more you return to center, the more you will benefit in many, many ways.

Dreaming In Small Steps

It’s such a small thing, folding a towel and folding it without wrinkles. The edges are all even. The little tag is on the inside where it won’t be seen. The towel lays flat, ready to be stacked with the others. Seems like such a tiny thing, but folding a towel properly is important.

With this small thing comes a good feeling, a feeling of accomplishment. Pride in a thing well done. No one is going to know about this little thing you’ve accomplished. You’re not going to broadcast it to the world. It’s a private thing, this folding of the towel, something you’ll keep between you and yourself. This little thing you keep to yourself, and the feelings engendered, will always be a private thing. No one else would really understand, anyway.

But it’s something of which you can be proud, this tiny, private thing. A private pride in yourself and the things you do. This pride in doing things, and doing them well, is a private reward. Such a small reward, but a reward, nevertheless. And that, my friend, is one of the reasons small deeds are worthwhile.

We’ve all entertained grandiose visions of becoming the next great physicist, race car driver, governor, or whatever else one can imagine. The fantasies, dreams, visions, imaginations, aspirations, and ambitions are as endless as the sky. It’s easy to dream. The hard part is bringing that dream to reality.

Most of us realize that accomplishing one’s goal is no small feat. Intermediate steps must be undertaken towards completion of our ultimate goal. In those intermediate steps lies the foundation for the greatness to follow. The self-esteem that follows the accomplishment of those steps, is, in itself, its’ own reward. If you do small things well, then it stands to reason, you’ll habitually do the large things well, because you’ve built a good, solid foundation.

If you take a look at the great accomplishments in human history, you’ll find they were accomplished by people who did small things well. These are people who were committed to themselves and their goals. One must have a desire and then commit to that desire. After that, one must spend the time and resources necessary for realization of the dream.

The dreaming was easy…now the real work begins. This is the point where most dreams end. The desire is there, but the commitment and hard work were not part of the original equation. The “I can’t…” begins to creep in, and soon come the rationalizations; “It was just a dream, anyway”, “It would never have amounted to anything”, “I don’t have the time, nor the money” or, “I am not smart enough”. It’s easy to toss away a dream which has no commitment. How many of us already know that?

So how do we get commitment? Is there a commitment store? Where can I find it? The answer is relatively easy, my friend. One doesn’t commit to the lofty aspirations in the beginning, those are the end results. You commit to those only in a general sense. Your profound commitment should be only to the next small step. That’s where you spend your efforts, time and resources.

College students who have high aspirations must first get out of bed. Then the next step is simply to get to class. The next step is to pay attention to the professor. The next step is to complete the assignments. It is these repetitious small steps and the commitment to them that will get the student across the stage at graduation.

So it is with any dream. You first determine the desired end result. Then lay out the steps necessary for the achievement of those goals. Then commit to those small steps. If the second floor is your destination, one small step at a time will get you there. It is in the completion of those individual steps where one gains the feeling of accomplishment in a job well done.

Such a small thing, the folding of a towel, but its one step in the completion of the laundry cycle.

Finding True Success In This World

Most of the success created by great business people really has little to do with trends, climate, and circumstance. These great leaders can create a profit in any kind of circumstances. Of course they take advantage of trends and everything else, but they do not rely on them

Everything in this world has outside influence, but it comes down to realization of self-evaluation and the ability to alter what is and isn’t bringing success. I believe that there are things out there we can take advantage of that can help us, but in the end it comes down to you as the individual.

You have the obligation to look at your self in the mirror and say, “What positive things are being done and what can I build on? What am I doing wrong that I can fix?” People don’t realize that success lies in the subtlest of changes. These changes can alter the course of one person’s existence.

The gap between yes and no and right and wrong are not that far apart. As easy as it is to fail in the business world, it truly is as easy to be successful. It comes down to you and your determination. Can you fail enough until you learn how to do it right or will you succumb to fear, pressure, and depression?

“Every time I fail,” said Thomas Edison, “I learn something.” He tried 1,114 times to find a filament to stay lit in a bulb. He failed 1,113 times. That might look on the surface as a failure, but yet he became one of the most valued individuals of our time and impression is felt even today.

What can be said for you and your road to success? You can look at your failures as roadblocks or steps toward your eventual triumph. It is truly up to you and your mindset. One important fact that needs to be noted that when you are evaluating your business make sure to not only realize the errors, but also notice the success.

Value those moments and compliment those that helped you to accomplish them. If you focus on negativity a lot then you will only create more negativity and failure. If you focus on success and doing whatever you can to achieve it then there will come a time when all you expect and look for is success.

You will know what it looks like and how it tastes. It will be as common to you as any of the feelings of your senses. It will seem natural and people will call it so. They will claim that you had a natural born gift. They will believe that you were blessed with it and will envy you. Hopefully deep down inside you will know that they have the same capacity, but lack possibly the knowledge to help them accomplish it.

Nothing comes that natural unless you make it a natural part of your life. What is exciting about success is that when you do it in one area then you can do it in numerous other areas. It will seem endless to you. That is why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

It is a widening gap that requires a greater deal of education for those that don’t have those tools and just maybe you are the one to give it.

Court helps people to learn about finding success in this world.

The Law Of Attraction In The Mental World

Posted by Esteemnow in Motivational / Inspirational

The life that we know is governed and operated by immutable laws. These laws are backed by one great life force or the great all! Its manifestations are unlimited, yet many people totally ignore this great power, these great laws and this all powerful, all present, all knowing, great all.

We (some of us) understand the law of gravity, or similar laws, but fail to understand or give credence to the powerful Law of Attraction in the mental world, or thought world. While we acknowledge the laws that pull and hold planets in orbits, and keeps water on the surface for the most part, we, at the same time, are doubtful and choose to ridicule the law that brings us our hearts desire and delight.

Thoughts have magnet like powers, drawing to us whatever we think, ponder or desire with feeling and longing. This great force creates world, mold destines and build great structures and machines, which travel to outer space and beyond. We are speaking of a magnificent force to be admired; a force that must inspire greatness in all who realize even a atoms worth of its superior ability. Thoughts are a wonderful force, creative stuff and have genius and magic in it. Thought is the real maker and fashioner of life and of all the goodies we seek.

The student and lover of the Law of Attraction will never regret or frown upon stumbling up this great knowledge. Once the student embraces this powerful law, he, or she, will then know that the game is on; it is time to be, do, and have whatever is at the core of his or her desire.

You (we) are more energy and vibrations than we think! When thought is activated, a vibration is sent out. These vibrations are of a delicate, fine substance. These vibrations are just as real and useful as those vibrations that give off light, heat and so on. So relax, and feel certain that your thoughts are the master creator!

By relaxing and staying calm, you send a signal to your higher self that you trust All there is, and that you are certain that thought is the only creative power. This certainty will assist you in gaining more clarity, focus and vision. The more clarity, focus and vision, the greater the prosperity one will experience.

The words you speak are living entities that are constantly forming grouping and molding themselves into physical form. Your desire, your thought as feeling predetermines the physicality of the manifestation. Thoughts, Words and Our Desires are living seeds, and the faster this is realized, and acted upon, the more effortless and easy life becomes. Choose your words, thoughts and deeds carefully, for you will reap what you sow, as sure as the driven snow. Then you will surely know, that Thoughts are Things manifested in the material world through vibrations.
