Are You Using These 5 Viral Marketing Strategies To Market Your Business?

Posted by Jjarrett in Viral Marketing

Viral marketing is a marketing strategy similar to “word of mouth.” It’s where you get others either talking about your products and services or sharing something you have created.

Although there are many ways to make your business go viral, here are some simple strategies you can use to start building a viral marketing campaign for your business:

1. Either create or buy an ebook you can give brand.

Creating ebooks is easier than ever, especially if you use free software like Open Office. All you have to do is write up your ebook and then convert it to PDF. Write something short and sweet that relates to your products or services and give lots of great tips.

Start giving it away to your visitors. Not only is this a way to start a viral marketing campaign for your business, you may also build your list. Make sure you tell your visitors they can give away your ebook.

If you want to increase the chances of your free report going viral, purchase branding software. What branding software does is it allows those who download your report to change custom links within the ebooks to their site links or affiliate links.

Others are more likely to give away your report when you give them a good reason, like a chance to make extra money.

2. If you know how to do web design, create some website templates to give away.

One advantage to this strategy is that it also allows you to build backlinks to your website. Put a link to your website in the footer of the template. Let others know that in order to use the template, they must leave the link in place.

3. Write articles.

Articles are one of the easiest marketing strategies to make viral. Everyone loves good content, and there are millions of webmasters on the internet looking for content for their ebooks, websites, and ezines.

Post your articles to as many directories as you can. Also, make them available to article lists like the ones on Yahoo Groups, and you’re more likely to have your article published more.

4. Create a video.

Videos are a hot internet marketing technique. They’re really addictive. Internet users watch millions of them every month.

Watch some of the videos on You Tube that are related to your topic. Which ones catch your interest? Use what you learn to make your own videos. Videos are easier than ever to make because there’s tons of free software out there you can use.

5. Add a tell a friend script to your site.

A tell a friend script is a script you put on your site so that others can recommend your site. Two examples are internet marketers Mark Joyner and Mike Filsaime. They have both used this technique to help them get millions of visitors and earn millions of dollars.

To find a tell a friend script, just do a search in the search engines for “free tell a friend script”.

Every bit of marketing your do may help your business go viral. Try these tips and start building your own viral marketing campaign.

An Exceptional Video Gives You An Edge In Video Marketing

Posted by Paully1111 in Viral Marketing

Few years back, whenever one needs to learn about a subject or the history of a state or country, or the anthropology of a particular society, or a certain scientific principle one has to go to the library and look through one aisle of hundreds of books after another for sufficient information.

That would mean hours spent within the four walls of the library. Although some may have the convenience of borrowing some books from the library or have the option to purchase books, but these options could prove to be costly sometimes. Nowadays, you can search through the Internet for helpful information about anything and everything within the comforts of your room or while basking in the relaxing ambiance of the outdoors.

Additionally, the introduction of the flash player in the Internet widened the scope with which the web can be used as an effective tool for communication as well as for marketing. In fact, it is one of the best mediums to gain considerable audience. Moreover, it does not cost as much as the amount one needs to spend on producing a television commercial. One does not need to spend much on equipment and manpower for the taping of the video for product or service promotion. And because there are various free video hosting sites, any one can post and showcase videos online without having to fork out.

However, making an audience grabbing video is not as easy as it may seem. You see, the idea of video marketing is to attract potential audience and encourage them to check out your site and eventually make you popular in their respective networks. Thus, the term viral marketing. Of course, this does not only work for marketers who are selling particular goods and services, this is also a good way to promote aspiring artists. From writers to painters, musicians to dancers, the Internet is for everyone.

According to Tubemogul, the formula for an effective promotional video is: 50% Content and production; 20% Thumbnail; 15% Metadata; 15% Promotion. Now, for further details…

Content and Production: Generally, the video must be remarkably awesome. How? Well, a good video is made up of one or a good combination of the following elements: humor, unconventional, real talent, celebrities, special effects, pranks, spoofs, catchy music, pet tricks, cute kids, physical injuries, and sex. But of course, choose the right package for your target market.

Thumbnail: It is a single image that will be used to represent your entire video. Thus, it must be thought-provoking to entice people to check out the video.

Meta-data: Use a keyword loaded description for your video. The more meta-data used in describing your video, more people will find it.

Promotion: This can be achieved by getting involved with the various communities in the web. You can subscribe to other people’s sites, make friendly, witty, and somewhat engaging remarks that would lead people to check out your profile. And of course, getting involved in forums will provide you with the opportunity to invite various people to check out your site.

Learn How You Can Publish A Magazine

Posted by Nyambyte in Viral Marketing

Magazines first made an appearance after the printing press was invented and copies could be easily made of a single publication and now have become one way to make information available to a large segment of the public, no matter if it is presented online or as printed material. From a simple printed page to the slick photo pages of today, magazine publishing has come a long way from its humble beginnings.

Magazine publishing encompasses development of material, the acquisition of rights, copyediting, graphic design, layout and production. Production may be printing hardcopy magazines or uploading webpages. Marketing and distribution are also part of the job. Magazine publishing also involves a lot of detailed, tedious work before it reaches the public, it is not just developing a concept and printing.

Most magazines include content that is commercial, informational, entertaining and some editorial as well. To develop and provide all this content takes hard work and money to pay those who work so hard to write this content. In publishing, the better your talent, the more it costs. This is also reflected in your finished product. The better quality publication you create, the more money it costs to buy it.

Publishers of all kinds spend a lot of time and money buying the rights to publish copy. They also commission some writers to provide specific copy that they want. The quality of this copy helps build the reputation of the publisher. For a small publisher, you can rely on commissioned work until business increases. At that point, you may need to subscribe to syndicated news and other content, or outsource some of your jobs so you don’t overwork your writers.

You will need to solicit some of your material, so it fits the concept you have for your magazine. You may also get unsolicited proposals and submissions from authors who may or may not be published. Unsolicited manuscripts often wait in what is known as a “slush pile.” This is a place where editors sift through material to find quality work or content that may fit the needs of the moment. Established writers may have a literary agent to represent them. These agents market the writer’s work to publishers and negotiate contracts for their clients.

When a piece is accepted for publication, commissioning editors negotiate the purchase of publishing rights and agree on any royalties that may be offered for books or copyright licensing for a magazine article. After the material is acquired, the editorial process begins. Authors may be asked to make changes or do rewriting. The editors then edit the content for the needs of the publication. This also happens to syndicated materials.

Magazine publishers often develop their own “house style” which is a layout that immediately lets the reader know this magazine is published by “XYZ Publishing”. The content is edited by the editorial staff so it matches the styles required by various markets the publisher works with. Editors may also request structural changes in the work and more information for some portions.

Finally, the last step in magazine publishing is marketing and distribution. This puts the final product before the public in stores and newsstands, and sent out to subscribers everywhere.

PLR Profits - How To Choose Profitable PLR Products

Posted by DChampigny in Viral Marketing

Because of the popularity of Private Label Rights (PLR) products, the market has literally become flooded with them. Many Private Label Rights products are resold as PLR products, which are then sold as PLR products, and so on and so forth. This makes it hard to find and offer premium Private Label Rights products to your customers.

There is a solution to your PLR woes, fortunately! First, look for PLR deals where the number of PLR licenses sold is limited. The more limited the licenses are, the higher the price usually is - but this works in your favor. You will typically be getting a better PLR product, and you won’t have nearly as much competition when it comes to selling your converted product to your customers. Even though the licenses are limited, however, make sure that you change and repackage the original Private Label Rights product to make it your own unique offering before offering it for sale online.

On that note, look for Private Label Rights products that you can easily change to increase the value of your finished product. Using this method, a PLR product has the potential to be very profitable, simply because you will be making drastic changes from the original PLR package, and offering the market something that they don’t already have, and that nobody else is marketing online.

One of the easiest ways is to take PLR articles and compile them into an e-book - just cut and paste each PLR article into a .doc file, each starting on a new page, then create an index and a title page, add your Author’s page and niche-related recommended resources at the end, and turn it into a PDF - voila, a new niche product to sell or give away to build your opt-in list.

Look for what your niche wants. You can poll your customers to find out what they want or need, then go out and find a niche PLR product that closely resembles that. You can then change the PLR product to fully fill your customers’ needs or desires. One simple way to search for products with Private Label Rights in any given niche is to use a search engine and type in niche or type + PLR and see what comes up. You can also join PLR Article membership sites or E-Book membership sites that cater to a varied selection of niches, to allow you wider exposure and a better chance of making money online from your niche marketing.

There are even PLR membership sites that give you complete PLR web sites each month, either to use for Adsense sites or as a base to then add your niche products to - either way they save a lot of time over creating your own sites from scratch!

Those are the best ways to find profitable PLR products. Offer products that are not readily available or easy to find, and also ask your market what they want or need. When you take the time to consider these things, you will find that you have much more success with PLR in ANY niche!

PLR Master Doug Champigny operates 2 PLR membership sites, is the author of the Becoming A PLR Pro and Mining PLR Gold e-books, and the creator of the highly-acclaimed PLR Tutorial Videos. Dare To Promote Your Business Using Social Networking!

Posted by Rispoli in Viral Marketing

Many online marketers think that social networking is way to slow to help build an online business. But even though it may be slow, social online marketing is a great free advertising resource that will build a solid foundation that can bring a steady flow of traffic over time.

What is social online marketing? It allows people to communicate with each other and create relationships in every area of life, including business. There are many tools available to brand yourself and your company online, such as videos, discussion groups, and blogs.

Many successful marketers are using social marketing to increase their business and attract others to do Joint Venture Partnerships. It allows them to promote their businesses to people who are actually interested. This is done by using social networking sites to build up a network of friends with common interests while offering support, advice and exchanging information. Over time they can establish relationships and then promote their business opportunities.

This can be a great way to increase incomes, simply because many people are seeking information and will be interested to do Joint Venture projects.

Networking with others is one of the oldest forms of communication in the world. By joining a social network people can search for professionals like consultants, hosting services and much more.

The popularity of networking websites is spreading all over the Internet. Not only can members make new friends but these sites can be used as marketing tools. They can help increase website traffic by sending tons of traffic to your website and for an added bonus, they can also improve your search engine ranking.

By integrating social online marketing into your marketing plan you can now generate additional income as well as to gain free advertising.

How can social networking help your business?

1. You can save any website that you find interesting and mark it for public viewing. This is a great way to get your site exposed.

2. Many social networking sites will link to your website and thus increase the number of backlinks to your site. What a great way to improve your websites search engine ranking.

3. Some of the well known social networking sites are famous for directing massive traffic to other websites. If your site ever makes it to the front page of any social networking site, then get ready for a mind boggling amount of traffic.

4. Search engines love social networking sites because they can get fresh, rich content. If you can get your website on a number of social networking sites then it will get indexed by search engines fairly quickly.

5. Take advantage of sites such as YouTube to post videos and pictures relating to your business. YouTube is visited by millions of users daily so just simply think creatively and make a video using your hand held camera and then post it.

It’s a fact, everyone has an opinion and everybody wants to get theirs heard. If you think that you have information that will draw in the masses and keep them coming back then explore the endless possibilities of social online networking.

You just won’t know until you try.

3 Type Of Sales Techniques For Internet Marketing

Posted by SubjectTruths1 in Viral Marketing

The internet has changed the way we do business and internet marketing is the new sheriff in town when it comes to selling products and services. There are five steps to becoming an internet marketing millionaire. They are:

1. Drive traffic to your website
2. Convert traffic to sales
3. Cross-sell and up-sell complementary products
4. Continue to increase the amount of traffic to your site
5. Increase your conversion rate

Now that doesn’t sound very difficult at all does it. Heck in a month or so you should be a millionaire right? If that’s the case and all it takes it these five simple steps, why are 90% of internet marketers never making a sale. Why do affiliates never translate to sales in 90% of the cases. It doesn’t matter whether it’s Commission Junction, Linkshare, Clickbank or another.

The problem lies in just one area - sales techniques. There are three types of sales techniques you need to know and use if you want your internet marketing to be in the 10% that are successful. Let’s have a look at these 3 type of sales techniques for internet marketing

Sales Technique #1 - Feature or Function Based Sales
This type of selling sells the functionality of the service or product. For example. When you purchase a car it has an engine, gas pedal, brake pedal, 4 wheels. The car takes you to and from work and you use the car to bring home the groceries and carry the baby stroller. You can use your car to go on vacations, take the kids skiing, or just go for a relaxing drive. Having a car is great isn’t it?

Let’s look at another example. You buy a cell phone. It lets you talk with your friends, text message your friends, take pictures, and even listen to music. It works in your home town and across the country.

Last example, you go out for dinner at a high end restaurant and with no reservation you are able to get a table and order a steak for dinner. It tastes delicious, it makes your taste buds water, it fills you up and relieves your hunger pains.

Every one of our examples shows functionality or the function of the product. This is how most sales occur. The salesperson will sell the potential customer on the functionality of the product or service in an effort to get them to purchase. It’s the most basic of all sales techniques.

Sales Technique #2 - Benefits Based Sales
This is the second method of selling which uses telling the potential customer what the product or service will do for them. Let’s look at our examples again.

In the case of the car it can provide social status, luxury and convenience. In the case of the cellular phone it can provide convenience and connectivity. In the case of the restaurant you must have social influence in order to get that table without a reservation.

With benefits based selling you provide the product or service benefits to the potential customer in a way that makes it difficult not to find it overly appealing and thus necessary.

The difference between technique #1 and technique #2 is that feature based selling is more descriptive than benefit based selling. You must actually understand your product before you can be successful at selling it. Benefit based selling required you to have an excellent understanding of how the product can improve the potential customer’s life.

Sales Technique #3 - Engaging Selling
For online internet marking this is by far the most effective and it’s also the most interesting technique.

With this technique you are going to engage the potential customer and create a sense of ownership with the product or service. If done right it will compel the visitor to buy. In fact the urge will be unbearable. That’s because this method of selling taps uses psychological drives to create an irresistible compulsion to make the purchase. This technique taps into needs, wants, and desires.

For example, the desire for a comfortable, reliable, fast car. The desire to enjoy a delicious meal. The desire to have convenient communication. Or perhaps the desire to become a millionaire using internet marketing.

Remember with your website you have no direct contact with your customer so you must interest, compel, and close the sale all with words, graphics, and videos. These three sales techniques for internet marketing will help you do just that.

For internet beginners who struggle to understand all this can be a little daunting. There is a free course at http://www.internetmarketingsbestfreeguide.com/ where beginners can pick up pointers. Anyone can use this free resource and contact the author for assistance at any time.
