Excellent Physical Conditioning Not Good For Muscle Bound Idiot

Posted by Repeller in Women's Issues

Judy was a 25 year old female aerobics instructor. She was in excellent physical condition. She was a very beautiful woman. She was not muscular, but she had a natural feminine flare. She was the envy of all the women in her class and the women of every guys dreams. She had an exboyfriend named Troy who was very jealous.

She had broken up with him a few weeks ago and was trying to get on with her life. He was not completely over her. He hated to see her talk to any other guy and he was not afraid to let her know it. He was a very muscular fellow, but not in the best aerobic condition. He was more into packing on the muscles than aerobics.

He just did not want to let her go. One day while she was teaching an aerobics class, Troy interrupted. He made a scene and Judy finally had to let her students reschedule the class. When she and Troy were alone in the room they argued. Some of the students over heard Troy say, if he could not have her then no one would.

He turned and left the room in a rage. The students tried to convince Judy to report him. She was so nice that she just wanted to forget it. Later that evening, Judy was about to leave the gym for home. She packed her stuff and walked out into the parking lot. She saw Troy in the parking lot. He hastily moved toward Judy.

He said, Judy when are you going to stop this nonsense and come back to me. She said, I have told you a million times it is over and I mean it, now move. Something must have triggered in Troy. He grabbed Judy around her neck with his massive hands and started to choke her. She struggled but it was no use.

Then she remembered something about defending herself. She kneed Troy in the groin, which broke his attack, and she ran. He regained composure and proceeded to chase her. Luckily she was in excellent aerobic condition and was able to out run him and get help. She reported the incident to police and Troy was arrested. Her excellent physical conditioning had probably saved her life.

You should always stay in the best physical condition possible. Excellent physical conditioning will help ward off attackers. When an opportunity to escape presents itself you may have to flee. If you are in better shape than your attacker you will have a better chance of escape. Not every one is in tiptop physical conditioning, so you will have to come up with alternatives to defend yourself.

During any attack or assault there will be many opportunities to escape. You must recognize them and utilized every method at your disposal. Your goal is not to defeat the criminal, but to allow yourself time to escape. When physical conditioning is not on your side, choose other ways to defend yourself. The list is never ending. Always have a self defense strategy in mind in case of emergency.

Local Waitress Rocks Criminal World

Posted by Repeller in Women's Issues

Megan is waitress in a local restaurant. She has 2 young kids. She gets paid a small salary, but she mostly relies on tips to make ends meet. Most of the people in the town know her situation and goes out of their way to help. They often leave her generous tips, which she appreciates very much.

She puts them in her purse until closing. Megan enjoys occasionally meeting new people in the restaurant and chatting with the regulars. She can not afford a car of her own, so she calls a taxi to get back and forth to work. She calls the taxi around closing time and waits for it on the sidewalk.

One evening she was about to leave for the day. She waited on her taxi in the usual spot. She stood there with her purse on her shoulder. She was grateful, it had been a good day for tips. She was finally on her way home to see her children. Megan thought she would do something special for them with the tip money.

Unknowing to her somebody else was watching her and all the tips she received. Out of the blue a man came running toward her. He grabbed her purse. She let go of the purse and it fell to the ground. She was a little dazed from the attack. The man came back to pickup the purse, but she got to it first. She grabbed it by the straps and started swinging it.

It hit the man in the jaw like a ton of bricks. He fell to the ground. He was so stunned that he got up and ran in the opposite direction. Megan was shocked, that she could deliver such a hit with a purse. Then she remembered the painted rock she always carried in her purse. A friend had given it to her for good luck and she carried it everywhere.

She went back inside the restaurant and called the police. She reported the incident but the man was never captured. Megan stills work in the restaurant. Somewhere there is a criminal with a broken jaw. She is more observant of her surroundings. She still carries the rock inside her purse for protection and luck.

Now it is more of a good luck symbol than ever. Purse snatchers are criminals of opportunity. They hang around looking for people who they think will make good victims. You should never risk injury over the contents of your purse. If you wear your purse across your shoulders and the strap does not give when it is snatched, you may be hurt.

Carry your purse close to your body to make it less of a target. While purse snatching is mostly a crime of petty thieves it can escalate. The best way to prevent purse snatching is not to wear a purse at all. If you are attacked report the incident to local police. Always have a self defense strategy in mind in case of emergency.

Warranty Information Lands Clerk In Jail

Posted by Repeller in Women's Issues

Margie is a single Mother of two children. She was divorced about 3 years ago and has since moved on with her life. Her kids keep her very busy, so she does not have much time for socializing. She wants to have a meaningful, relationship with someone but the right person has not surfaced.

She was going out with someone but was not ready to commit. She lived in an apartment in the suburbs of a big Midwestern city. She worked in an office complex for a giant insurance company. It was difficult being a single parent, but she managed to get by. She had mostly great friends and her parents gave her a helping hand when possible.

One day while on the way to the babysitter, she decided to take an hour or two to relax her nerves. She called the sitter and asked if she could keep the kids for another 2 hours and the sitter agreed. Margie had a couple of hours to do what she pleased. She decided to go shopping, since she rarely got to go anywhere without her two tag alongs.

She went to different stores. Her last stop was an electronics store. She purchased something that required a warranty. The clerk asked her for all her information to register the warranty. This included her phone number and address. She willingly complied, since she had been burned before by not registering her warranty.

The clerk said oh I see you are buying something for your kids. She said to herself, this guy is nice. She thought, she would let him know she was single. She said yes, there only 2 of them, but they drive me crazy since their dad left. The clerk went about his job as if he did not notice her. She thought he is not interested.

She checked out, took her merchandise and left. Later that night after the children were asleep she heard a strange sound coming from one of her windows. She went to investigate and found the window was open. At first, she figured one of the kids must have left it open. But the next day she found a crowbar lying outside the window.

She called the police. The crowbar was dusted for prints and the prints matched the clerk at the store she had visited earlier. Seems he had used the information she gave him to find out where she lived. He was attempting to break in when something scared him off. Margie was shocked and clerk he was arrested.

Single women are most likely to be the victim of attacks than any other segment of the population. This is compounded when kids are present. Kids can create major distractions. They can cause you to be less security conscious than you would be otherwise. You are busy taking care of parental concerns and may have temporary lapse in judgment.

Kids are not aware of some of the hazards, which radiate from their actions. They sometimes leave windows and doors open. This exposes everyone in the family to danger. As a single woman, be careful who you call your friends. Guard your personal information with care, as it can lead to problems if released.

Be aware of your environment and report incidents that are unexplained. Always have a self defense strategy in mind and always increase your knowledge on security issues. Periodically check the entrances to your home. Make sure all lock and latches are operational.
Double check windows and doors at night. Leave your exterior and some interior lights on. Keep a cell phone on you even while you sleep. May sound weird but you may not have time to hunt for your phone if something happens? Be the last one to go to sleep in your house.

Artist Paints A Picture Of Danger

Trixie is dating a local artist. She has known him for a couple of months. She knew that most artists had their own way of doing things. Her boy friend was no different. He was a seemingly nice guy but he took some getting use to. Sometimes he did unusual things.

For example, he once sat in a tree for 2 days. He said he was trying to get a feel of how birds felt. She figured it was just one of the weird habits that all artists possess. He also, frequently asked her to pose for photographs, but she refused.

She thought that was the end of it but he persisted. At first she was enjoying the attention. Then it just became annoying. He seemed to be obsessed with getting those photographs. He told her how he had never seen anyone as photogenic as her. He even said he thought she would make a terrific model.

He said he could send her photographs to some magazines to see what they thought. She thought are you crazy, I do not want my photographs in everyones hands. She declined. He stopped asking for a while. One day she went to his apartment. While she was there, he wanted to go out and get some art supplies.

Trixie thought buying art supplies was boring, so she stayed at the apartment. She wanted to learn more about what made the artist tick. She looked around the apartment. It was full of all types of art. She struggled to understand what was going through his mind when he created some of the pieces. He seemed to have a bizarre fascination with women. She dismissed it as just a part of his passion.

She came across a giant black photo album. She opened the album and thumbed through a few pages. All the photographs were of women. She thought, I can finally see how I compare to his previous girl friends. She looked at the pictures. She came across a section marked, special, with a black divider. She flipped the divider, and what she saw shocked her. It was photographs of her in her bathtub at home.

She became really scared and nervous. She did not know what to do. Fearing that the artist may be dangerous, she did not stay and confront him. All she could think about was getting out of that apartment with those photographs. She took the photographs to the police. They arrested the artist and charged him with invasion of privacy. Fearful of the consequences, Trixie moved to a different state.

Trixie knew that the artist had planted some kind of hidden camera in her bathroom. She still wonders if other photographs will surface one day. We all have to be careful of the people we allow into our homes and lives. Technology has made it possible for a persons privacy to be revealed to the world. It has also made it possible to know when someone is spying on you and your family.

You should periodically check your home and surroundings for invasion. Never under estimate the capability of an unscrupulous person. Lives have been ruined because of information or photographs of people in compromising positions. Protect your privacy by being aware that you can be a victim. Take steps to insure that you have the privacy you think you have.

Elena was a single mother of three. She had two young sons and a teenage daughter named Kayla. Her husband had left about a 2 years ago, but the family was still making adjustments. The two sons seemed to understand the situation and were willing to help their mother in any way possible.

The daughter on the other hand seemed to resent her mother. She blamed her mother for her dad leaving. The truth of the matter was that her mother had grown tired of her husband addictions. They led to other problems and at times came pretty close to violence.

She kept this a secret from the children so they would not hate their father. Kayla saw her mom as the evil one. Kayla was also beginning to have problems. She had several brushes with the law and her attitude was going down hill daily.

There were many strange things going on with Kayla. She would stay out all night and become very angry when her mom told her about it. She would walk away in the middle of a conversation. One night Kayla stayed out very late, her mother decided to sit up and wait for her to ensure her safety.

Kayla came home about 2 AM. She was in a car with an older looking guy. Her mother peeked through the window and saw them drive up. They got out of the car and walked up to the front porch. She pulled the door open. They came inside. Elena was furious and right away an argument started. At first the guy just stood there and watched.

Then he said listen do not talk to my girlfriend like that. Elena said she is my daughter. She also said, I want you to leave my house. He said shut up. He told Kayla to come on lets go. Elena said, Kayla is not going anywhere. The guy said I told you to shut up and he started toward Elena. He shoved her and she fell to the floor.

Then he grabbed Kayla by the arm and said are you going with me. She must have came to her senses because she said no! She saw her mom lying there on the floor and she rushed over to help her. She told the guy to leave or she would call the police herself.

The guy said fine, who needs you anyway. You are nothing but a mamas child. The guy turned around went out the door, got into his car and sped off into the night. That must have been a turning point in Kaylas life. She began to help her mother in any way that she could. In fact Elena and Kayla are not just mother and daughter they are best of friends.

Family members can resent each other when they do not have all the facts. They may take actions that place other members in jeopardy. If the situation becomes violent you must be able to defend yourself and your loved ones.

Many spur of the moment violent acts occur without weapons. You may have an opportunity to remove yourself from danger. If you do, take immediate action.

Criminal With Knife Startled By Friend In College

Karen is freshman in college. She is very trusting and likes to meet new people. She has heard all the stories about college life and now she is finally here. She is a well disciplined student, and does not intend to let to the social life interfere with her studies. All of the students know each other personally and she is no different.

They do not fully understand the need for all the extra security precautions. Nevertheless; they act like they are following the rules to keep campus security off their backs. They pretend to double check hall doors and lock their rooms when campus security is making their rounds. In reality, they just wanted to have fun and could care less about security.

One night Karen had been out late with her friends at a party. She came back to the campus and was about to retire for the night. Her friends dropped her and another girl off about a block from their dorm. It was a beautiful night out and they decided to walk the rest of the way to clear their heads.

They were not aware that someone was watching them. It was a wanderer from the nearby rail yard. Karen and her friend continued to walk not really worrying about where they were or who might be watching. They were busy chatting and discussing the activities of the next day.

The man watching them continued to follow them. Karen and her friend parted company at her friends dorm. Karens dorm was on the next block, so she continued to walk and the wanderer continued to follow. When she was about to make her final turn to her dorm, the man jumped from the darkness.

He knocked her to the ground and pulled out a knife. She was very frightened. The man said if you scream, I will kill you. Do as I say and you will not be harmed. She said what are you going to do? He said shut up and kept walking. After she had walked a few yards, the friend that she had just dropped off called her name. She had forgot to ask Karen something.

The friends voice startled the attacker. He turned around and Karen broke free. She screamed and ran as fast as she could toward her friend. The attacker ran in the opposite direction. Karen was traumatized. She reported the incident to the police. The man was never caught. Karen eventually left the school. She feared that the attacker would return.

You should always pay attention to your surroundings no matter where go. Even in familiar territory, you may face criminal attack. Walking with a cell phone in your ear or chatting with friends can distract you. Those who are distracted look like good victims to criminals. They may follow you for some distance before deciding to attack.

If you show them that you are aware, they will move on to another target. Continually scan your area. Move away from suspicious activity and people. Report suspicious activity to the authorities. Be prepared to defend yourself in all cases.
